Ever since I was a little girl, it has been pretty obvious I have an obsession with anything that is colorful and patterned. Maybe it was my collection of fabric scraps or my always wanting new floral bedding for my birthday since I was six or my infamous wall of scarves in college or the layers of pillows on my couch and bed. Needless to say, when it comes to color and pattern, I believe the more the merrier!

I am lucky enough to have found the perfect opportunity to turn my passion for color and pattern into a business. I quickly learned entertaining is not as easy as it looks.  I was not so excited about using my new, perfect placemats once I realized I had to wash and PRESS them after every use. Nor was I happy when I realized the only vases I could use were drinking glasses since there was no storage for real vases in my tiny apartment. I set out to solve these problems in an aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly way, and at last Lucy Grymes was born.
